Restorative Justice Practice Talk, 2/8

February 8, 1:00pm. Sponsored by ¡ANDALE!, this workshop will be led by Henry Cervantes and focus on Restorative Justice Practice. Henry Cervantes is the Program Manager for The Peace Exchange, a program of Holy Family Ministries. Cervantes has taught nonviolence at Cook County Jail as part of the Sheriff's Anti-Violence Effort or S.A.V.E program. Cervantes is also adjunct faculty for North Park University's School of Restorative Arts, teaching conflict resolution at Stateville Correctional Center, a maximum security prison. Cervantes is currently an Illinois Road Scholar and a recent graduate of Anti-Defamation League's Glass Leadership Institute. For his work for peace and social change, Cervantes is one 40 Human Rights Defenders featured in the Take A Stand Center at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center.
