Meet Artist Ambrin, March 9 3:30pm (Zoom)

Please join Honors at Oakton for a conversation with Chicago-based artist, academic, and educator, Ambrin Ling (see the flier here). As a person of mixed Chinese, Pakistani, and Scottish descent, she is interested in mining paper and other materials with vibrant cross-cultural and international histories in relation to themes of place, power, and belonging. Students’ questions will be centered as we learn more about Ling’s projects, scholarship, and experiences as both a researcher and professional artist. Please register in advance here.
